TOPIC
Acts 1-12
The book of Acts records many exciting events that grab our attention. We read of the lame walking, the dead being restored to life, and angels freeing people from prison. All the while, the gospel is bringing down barriers, establishing unity, and thousands of people are responding to the message of Christ. However, if we are truly to understand the message of this book and the freedom that is being made available to us, then we need to take a step back from all this activity to see Jesus Christ. He alone is the Source and the explanation for the things we read.
The book of Acts presents Jesus Christ as risen from the dead, living inside those who believe in Him and sufficient for whatever any given day may bring. I hope that we will discover this reality afresh through our time together in this book.
