Stephen Thiessen
Trained at Capernwray Harbour’s Bible School for two years, Steve sought to discover the truth, Jesus Christ Himself, the God of the Bible and Eternity. This training marked the beginning of a life-changing journey of learning, growth, and serving effectively in the Torchbearer ministry in Canada, spanning nearly 20 years in various roles and beyond.
God continues to effectively use, equip, and keep Steve as he trusts in the Lord, regardless of the task at hand, whether small or large. Steve and his wife, three adult children and kids operate a sustainably grown food farm on Vancouver Island. Steve also pastors a growing church congregation on Gabriola Island.

2 Corinthians
In the context of great turmoil, Second Corinthians stands as one of Paul’s most personal and passionate letters. Relevant for our time, Paul directs this congregation to the God of all comfort in the midst of trial, to the nature of true apostleship in response to the rise of false teachers, and to the need to take their focus off of the temporal, and put firmly onto the eternal work of our Lord Jesus. Through these teachings, we walk in confidence that whatever momentary affliction surrounds us, God is producing an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, and no matter the obstacles we face, His divine grace is sufficient for us today. For God has placed His divine treasure in jars of clay, so that the watching world will see, without any doubt, that the Life of Christ is at work within us.

HOW TO REGISTER
Online. Registrations open at 8:30 am PT on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.
Once submitted online, registrations will be acknowledged as received. When space in the conference is secured and the registration is completely processed, registrations will be confirmed as accepted. Each registration requires a deposit of $100 (CAD) per person. The deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted.
