CONFERENCE SPEAKER
Matthew McLean
Matthew first attended Bible School at Capernwray Harbour for two years, where he met his wife Jessica. He then followed God’s call to serve at Capernwray Quebec, where he and Jessica served for over fifteen years in multiple leadership roles. Matt and Jess are now serving in Matt’s hometown in Ontario, where Matt continues to be a friend, neighbour and advocate for others, proclaiming Christ’s Light and Life wherever He goes.
Playing hockey, chess and skateboarding are some of Matt’s favourite pastimes. Matt & Jess have three adult children living across Canada and three children at home, as well as a dog and a goat named Gary.
CONFERENCE TOPIC
Life of Timothy
The Life of Timothy shares Christ’s story through the eyes of a young man seeking to ‘fight the good fight of faith’.
Timothy is mentioned with cameos in the book of Acts; he is the co-sender of six letters in the New Testament scriptures and the recipient of two of Paul’s letters as he assumes a leadership role in the city of Ephesus.
Journey with us as we see what it means to ‘be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus’ – Men, called not to use their age or anything else as an excuse but to be disciplined, discipled, and walk in the power of the Living God through difficult times.
