Pastors & Ministry Leaders Conference 2022 is designed for those men & women in Christian ministry to join together in a tranquil island setting to focus themselves on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Richard Dahlstrom is a teaching pastor, author, long-time friend and visiting lecturer of Capernwray Harbour as well as several other Torchbearer Centres around the globe. Richard began serving as Senior Pastor at Bethany Community Church in Seattle WA in December of 1995. He is an avid seeker of Truth who is the Lord Jesus Christ and affectively communicates His Life with those he meets & serves. Richard finds enjoyment in skiing, rock climbing, writing, hiking, and reading. He has been married to Donna for more than 40 years and together they have 3 adult children and a growing number of grandchildren. They make their home in the mountains of Washington State.

Registration for 2022 is now closed. Online registrations will be acknowledged as received when submitted. Registrations will be confirmed as accepted once space in the conference is secured and the registration is completely processed. Each online registration requires a $50 (CAD) non-refundable, non-transferable deposit in order to be received and accepted. Visa, Mastercard & American Express accepted. Fax, email or phone registrations are not accepted.
When does the conference start and finish?
Check-in will begin at 1:00 pm on Monday, May 2. Guests are welcome to arrive on any of the afternoon ferry sailings from Chemainus to Thetis Island in time for a 6:15 pm supper. The conference concludes on Thursday, May 5 in time for the guests to board a 2:50 pm or 4:45 pm ferry sailing from Thetis Island back to Chemainus (Sailing times subject to change. Please see BC Ferries website for the most up-to-date information).
What do I need to bring with me for the conference?
Please remember to pack:
a. Towels (full bed linen provided)
b. Bible, notebook & pen
c. Clothing for rain or shine
d. Personal Toiletries
e. Sunscreen, bug spray, Afterbite

Where will I stay during the conference?
There are several different types of accommodation on the property where guests can stay. There are 15 fully-winterized cottages that sleep 4 – 8 persons depending on the cottage size with attached washrooms. Each cottage has an open floor plan and bunk-bed style beds.
Preedy Lodge is another accommodation on the property which is a dormitory-style accommodation with rooms sleeping 4 – 6 persons. Each room in Preedy Lodge has its own washroom. There are outdoor ocean view patios in front of Preedy Lodge. Each room has an open floor plan and bunk-bed style beds.
Can I request where I want to be accommodated and with whom?
We will do our utmost to fulfill your accommodation requests where possible. Accommodation is pre-assigned prior to arrival by the Conference Registrar taking into consideration any medical or physical needs required as well as group and individual requests.
