Know Him & Make Him Known
We are pleased to offer 2 free dynamic and practical one-day, online Bible courses that will impact and change your lives as we discover Jesus Christ as the source and essence of the Christian Life.
From the Bible’s books of Genesis to Revelation, God has carefully explained the truth about His Son, Jesus, and how we might come to have a living relationship with Him.
At Capernwray Harbour, we expect that students and guests will discover this Truth so that they in turn will be able to introduce others to a vital living relationship with Christ.
Bible Course #1 - Sat. April 30, 2022
Taught by Richard Dahlstrom
April 30, 2022 (3 Sessions)
Each person is on the earth to fulfill a unique calling as a person of hope, wisdom, and revelation, so that our thirsty world can discover, through us, the life-changing power of Christ. The story of Jonah, though, is the story of us all, in greater or lesser degrees; it’s the story of us running from our calling. Yet, it’s a story of hope too, for it’s the story of God’s relentless pursuit of us; God’s continual invitation to return to our calling and of the surprising power of simple obedience to God’s revelation. Join us for a study of Jonah!
Bible Course #2 - Sat. May 7, 2022
Taught by Matthew McLean
May 7, 2022 (3 sessions)
The Apostle Paul writes ‘Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary’ (Galatians 6:9).
It’s no secret that many people today are weary and losing heart! Christ assures us of the ultimate remedy.
Galatians takes us back to the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and reminds us of the implications of the cross: life vs death; freedom vs bondage; blessed vs cursed; son vs slave!
As we will see through these teachings… we have been redeemed by Christ for a specific purpose, so that we can know what it means when Paul says ‘If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.’
During these sessions together our goal will be to understand in greater measure what it means to walk intimately with Jesus, enjoying the fellowship of His Spirit – this will have an impact on every area of our lives.
