Ben’s responsibilities have grown and shifted over the years. He is now responsible for student & volunteer pastoral care and developing the Bible School curriculum as the Director of Studies. Ben grew up in northwest England and is known for his quick wit, deep love of Jesus, and football. Ben has been married to Miriam since 2013, and they have a delightful daughter named Emily.

1 & 2 Peter

In his first letter, Peter encourages scattered, persecuted believers to stay the course, be prepared, invest in others and live as good citizens, husbands, wives, leaders and servants. This letter reminds us that regardless of our ever-changing circumstances, the call of God remains the same; “Be Holy, for I am Holy” (1 Peter 1:6).

Peter himself is a demonstration of the grace of the Lord Jesus and His transforming work. Peter’s testimony and instructions point to the Source of Hope, Jesus Christ the Lord and remind us that if we walk with Jesus, we will also grow in Jesus.

Peter’s second letter, penned while drawing near the end of his time on earth, is one of reminders & remembrances. He reminds the believers that as false teachers come, they have already received everything they need in Christ Jesus; Who is sufficient; patient; in Whom we grow and to Who belongs the glory now and for eternity.
